Welcome!
Once upon a time when the populace had a different way of thinking and talking, and wore clothes that seem truly odd to folks of today, there was on the shores of the Baltic Sea a splendid town. The fame of this town reached far and wide beyond the horizon and people from all over the world came to see its magnificent walls and notable citizens. There came burghers and merchants, brave soldiers and skillful masters, fine ladies and their maids graced the town while simpler folk busied themselves with their daily tasks.
This town was Reval, whose fame is still renowned today, and is still a wondrous town even now. And look, these walls stand still and heirs of these distinguished citizens walk the ancient streets. "Rewal" has gathered people who think it important to keep the history alive and keep in mind the ancient customs. Thus it shall not be forgotten what came to pass in Reval in 1401-1524 AD.
These people do not wish to keep the knowledge to themselves for only their own good. Every one who turns up at a get-together can take part of the spirit of the ancient times. It is not necessary to dress yourself in your finest garments according to fashions of bygone times for a meeting.
Utterly unlike the circumstances of today is what happens at an event. Then the air is such as was of old and each must help to uphold it by donning appropriate attire and following good manners. Events may be run by other companies as well, such as the Tournaments of SCA Kingdom of Drachenwald or the Medieval Market in Tallinn.
