Frankfurt (Oder) is situated by the Polish-German border. Together with Slubice it makes twin-city with bridge between them which I used to get to German side for a short walk in June 2001 while stopping for a night in Slubice during a trip to Great Britain.

Frankfurt an der Oder is fairly big but very nice and pleasant town. Number of inhabitants is 85 000. Most workers are occupied by industry. Also Frankfurt is a railway node.

Last but not least there are tram lines. One of the cars you can see on my photos.
